Our food truck is more than just a place to grab lunch. We offer top-notch BBQ meats that are slow-smoked with pride right on the back porch. We specialize in beef brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey breast but we are always adding something new. When we set up for a public event we never know how much traffic to expect. We do our best to smoke the right amount of meat but when it’s gone….it’s gone. Our popular items tend to sell out fast!

Our home city is Grand Forks so that’s where you’ll most likely find us; however, we do travel to events throughout North Dakota. We are licensed and inspected by North Dakota Health and Human Services/Food & Lodging Unit & Grand Forks Public Health.
We are not booking events in Minnesota at this time.

We offer a variety of catering service options to fit your needs. Just want the food- you got it! Need us to set up a food line with self-serve or full-service options? We offer both disposable and premium equipment options that include everything you'll need to serve and plate your guests.
For drop-off catering, all of our items are sold in minimum quantity of half pan size.
Full service catering is priced per person based on the number of meats & sides.
Our weekends tend to book up a year in advance, so email us soon to see if your date is still available.
A booking retainer may be required if your event falls during our prime season.
Andy and Jill Elsberry (husband and wife owners). Both born and raised 701‘s, we want to share our love of BBQ with you. Our sandwiches are named after North Dakota cities that we have a personal connection with. Both of us have extensive food and restaurant experience, as well as being business owners. Andy’s family owns and operates Speedway 805, a popular Grand Forks, ND restaurant that's been in business for over 35 years! The original chain of Speedway locations was founded by his Late grandfather. Andy grew up working his way around the family restaurant, and so did our oldest son.
For now, this is a part-time gig until Andy is eligible to retire in a few years. With your continued support we hope to expand and grow our business!

Yes, we do not use items that may contain peanuts or tree nuts.
We do not offer gluten-free bread or pasta at this time. However, all of our seasonings and bbq sauce ingredients are gluten-free.
Sales tax is added to the menu price based on location of event.
A 3% processing fee is added if paying with credit card. To avoid the fee please pay with cash or debit card.
Gratuity is not included. Although tips are never expected, they are very much appreciated.
For drop off catering, most of our items are sold in minimum of half pan quantity. Each pan is estimated to feed 20-25 people based on a 4 oz serving portion. When guests dish themselves, estimate 6-8 oz of meat per person and 4 oz of sides. It's better to estimate high and have leftovers, than run short.
For full service catering, tell us the headcount and we figure out the rest!
